This place was good and I'm so glad that it was open at 6 am! The service was fine and owner was kind and had a warm greeting so that was a plus!
I had the Lox bagel (toasted on everything bagel and it was good. I like capers and cucumber on my bagel and when I asked about capers they were not a menu option, which was fine. The bagel was well made and could have used a tad bit of salt or something to make it a tad bit more savory for my taste, the onion and tomato were fresh and overall I'm happy and I'd go back for sure!
I also got basic bagel toasted with cream cheese and pesto pasta salad for my husband. Both were fine and nothing to rave about, but I'd come back to this business again. -

This is one of my favorite neighborhood hangouts. The staff there is very polite and caring.
They make some great sandwiches to order such as the vegetarian and the BLT.
I like that they have plenty of seating and the space is open and sunny looking out to Geary Blvd. It's a great place to relax.
Also, the #38 Bus stop is right outside. -

Very laid back, hippie coffee place that I loved coming to. I can see this is a neighborhood favorite, the girl getting our orders knew most people who came in. I could see that people were comfortable in the place and reading newspapers, on laptops etc. The place is old and dusty, but they make great bagels. I had the everything bagel with avocado and it was so good! The bagel had the perfect amount of "everything" to it, and was the perfect amount of chewy. The avocado was perfectly ripe, fresh and creamy. They also had a very extensive option for dip teas and I really enjoyed spending a few minutes picking what I liked. I settled for a chamomile mint and it was so yum. Their lattes and espresso drinks were also good, as attested by Lily and Rags!
I would absolutely love to come back to this place, it was great! -

Adorable space. Ideal for working as they have extra space in a back room, outlets, plus wifi.
Coffee is just okay but given everything else I liked this place overall. Plus barista was nice, not rushing or judging me even though I didn't know what to order when it was my turn.
